Before you want to "fork" pleroma, please remember that we air a very inclusive project and try to get as much functionality as possible merged in (if optional). This isn't the "no audio files and gifs" kind of project management.
dvn boosted
since somebody did a post on how expensive his Mastodon setup is, I will just say that you can run Pleroma on the cheapest vultr or linode and pay as little as $2.50 per month.
dvn boosted
and yes, the $2.50 per month vps is our benchmark for an important reason: marginalized people are usually broke, so the cheaper we can make it, the more democratizing it can be for them.

Bleh. It looks like the opposition is going to get a parliament majority for removing the Norwegian 350 NOK exemption for VAT on imported goods. In other words, everything on eBay is going to cost 25% more beginning next year. Also, no more ordering cheap candy, chocolate and crisps from Sweden over the Internet. The stupid new sugar tax in Norway has triggered the change, because more people are buying their snack foods in Sweden as a result. It's bad news for our hackerspaces.
